Leverage the latest revision (rev. 1.0.3) of our Windows Embedded Compact 7 board support package for the BeagleBoard-xM, a low-cost solution based on a Texas Instruments' DM3730 DaVinci™ digital media processor
Main Changes
- Update of PowerVR
We have integrated the new version of PowerVR available in other TI solutions like the OMAP35x EVM.
- Improved Boot Time with SD-Card
Thanks to an in-depth investigation from our engineers, we have succeeded in optimizing the boot time with SD-Card from 40 seconds to 5 seconds.
- DVSDK Support
First use of the DVSDK (Digital Video Software Development Kit) with the WEC7 BSP for BeagleBoard-xM. It allows a best video rendering by leveraging capabilities of the TI DSP for video and audio CODEC acceleration
- Common Part with the Windows Embedded Compact 7 Unified BSP for TI Cortex-A8 Processors
Based on our collaboration with TI to port the existing Windows Embedded CE 6.0 R3 “unified” BSP for TI Cortex-A8 processors to Windows Embedded Compact 7, this last revision of the WEC7 BSP for the BeagleBoard-xM includes the common part from the TI official release: BSP_WINCE_ARM_A8_02_00_00
