New Revision of our Windows Embedded Compact 7 BSP for the BeagleBoard-xM

Few weeks ago, we released a new revision (1.0.2) of our BeagleBoard-xM board support package (BSP) for Windows Embedded Compact 7. This new release adds support for hardware platform revision C and integrates the latest Texas Instruments common core source code for their Cortex-A8 processors family.

Since the USB hub control hardware circuitry has been modified between revision B and C of the BeagleBoard-xM, we have included a catalogue selectable item in Platform Builder to allow developers select the right target platform (Rev A3/Rev B or Rev C) before generating the OS. In the binary image, you will find two pre-built images for both Rev A3/Rev B and Rev C.

The new version of this BSP also integrates the latest Texas Instruments common core source code for their Cortex-A8 processors family (OMAP35x processors, AM35x/AM37x Sitara microprocessors and DM37x DaVinci™ digital media processors).
