Windows Embedded Compact 7 Reference BSP for BeagleBoard-xM
|
Based on the Windows Embedded Compact 7 “unified” BSP developed by Texas Instruments, we ported Windows Embedded Compact 7 into the BeagleBoard-xM. The BeagleBoard-xM is the new generation board from the BeagleBoard community members. It consist in a low-cost solution based on a Texas Instruments' DM3730 DaVinci™ digital media processor running at 1GHz and has been equipped with a minimum set of features to allow the user to experience the power of the processor. This board is not intended as a full development platform but for engineering development, demonstration or evaluation purposes only. |

This BSP is still under iterative development/improvement. In case you find a feature which is not working to your expectation please contact Adeneo Embedded to see how best we can help you plan your product development.
As this is a low cost BSP meant for educational and/or evaluation/prototyping purposes, the support is free with typical response time of one to five business days. Adeneo Embedded does provide support contracts as additional services for corporations where the cost and support structure is accordingly adjusted.
The BeagleBoard integrates the Texas Instruments DM3730 Cortex-A8 CPU plus C64x+ DSP core, with a 1GHz clock rate and 512MB of low power DDR RAM. Our Windows Embedded Compact 7 BSP supports the current BeagleBoard-xM hardware revisions (Rev A2-00 (Micron DDR), Rev A2-01 (Numonyx DDR), Rev A3/Rev B, and Rev C).
