Adeneo Embedded acquires Embedded Bits in UK to expand its presence in Europe and strengthen its open source skillset 

August 9th, 2016 - Adeneo Embedded, a worldwide recognized expert company in Embedded and Mobile software development, announce today the acquisition of Embedded Bits, a Bristol based company specialized in open source development for embedded devices.

With more than 80 engineers worldwide, Adeneo Embedded provides embedded system software integration solutions. Thanks to complete OS and software skills and a system level expertise, Adeneo Embedded provides worldwide support, training and engineering services to Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and Original Design Manufacturers (ODMs) developing advanced software layers solutions and connected devices.

After the development of several offices worldwide in France (2002), United-States (2007), Germany (2012) and Taïwan (2015) Adeneo Embedded continues its development with a third site in Europe.

Along with our development in Asia, we want to strengthen our position in Europe. Furthermore United Kingdom’s market is dynamic and very promising for our company. We aim for solid growth in the UK with a 15-engineer office within 2 years.

The acquisition will see Andrew Murray, founder of Embedded Bits, continue in his role as Managing director of the UK operation.
