For more than 10 years, Adeneo Embedded has developed Windows Embedded BSPs in collaboration with partners like Atmel, Freescale, Intel, NXP, STMicroelectronics and Texas Instruments. As a result of these strong relationships we released Windows Embedded Compact 7 BSPs for their main embedded platforms and architectures (see our roadmap below).



As a result, we also provide maintenance, support and system integration services to help OEMs speed Windows Embedded Compact 7-based designs to market including migration from a Windows Embedded CE 6.0 to a Windows Embedded Compact 7 design.

As a Microsoft Windows Embedded Gold partner, Adeneo Embedded provide top level support to OEMs developing Windows Embedded based devices, and are often involved in helping our customers with the performance optimization of their devices.

The information provided in this page is intended in helping OEMs and ISVs improving performances of their Windows Embedded Compact 7 application, by leveraging ARMv7 compiler with Visual Studio 2008. The latest release of the Windows CE Operating System, Windows Embedded Compact 7, brings significant improvements for performance optimization targeting high-end ARM architecture, such as ARMv7 compiler, NEON or Multicore support. ARMv7 compiler is natively leveraged for OS image building with Platform Builder. However, when it comes to Application building with Visual Studio, this feature is not available natively.
